Under strict legislation by the government, drums of chemicals must be labeled permanently to identify the products, their hazardous characteristics, proper disposal, lot code, etc. Much of this information is bar coded and each label contains various information. Labels must be permanent and resistant to weather and chemicals within the drum. These labels also contain color coded symbols.
