The Psion Organiser II hand held data terminal has a robust design that provides exceptional portability with a minimal investment. It is designed as a light-commercial portable data terminal and is ideal for low-volume data collection and barcode scanning applications. It features a communication port enabling the attachment of a wide range of peripherals such as bar code readers, CCD scanners, magnetic card swipes, printers and modems.
Two Datapak ports can accommodate up to 256K of non-volatile memory and/or .5 MB of Flash memory for data file and program storage. The Organiser II can be programmed using OPL, which is a structured BASIC-like language and 6303 assembler. An Organiser II Development System is available for developing applications on a PC.
