The Psion WorkaboutRF range of radio frequency (RF) handheld barcode computers combines mobile computing and wireless communications in an award winning, lightweight design. Industry sectors that will benefit include warehousing, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.
Operating on the 2.4Ghz band, the Psion WorkaboutRF is one of the smallest, most power efficient IEEE802.11 compliant handheld computers on the market. It supports 1Mbps data rate and can transmit at up to 300 meters from an access point, with range and coverage being expanded by simply adding additional access points.
An innovative choice of programming environments for the Psion WorkaboutRF offers maximum flexibility, whether you want to adopt a web-based, client/server or terminal emulation model.
